EQ-30 / QUICK START / 1.4.11

EQ-30 quick start

Aurel EQ-30 is a 30-band graphic equalizer for Windows x64 VST3 hosts.

01 / Install

  1. Close any DAW using Aurel EQ-30 before installing or replacing it.
  2. Extract the release archive. Keep the entire Aurel EQ-30.vst3 bundle together, including its internal folders.
  3. Copy that bundle into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. Windows may ask for administrator permission.
  4. Open your 64-bit Windows DAW and rescan VST3 plugins if needed. Insert Aurel EQ-30 on an audio track.

02 / Shape

Use the 30 bands from 25 Hz to 20 kHz to shape your signal. Draw starts enabled in a new instance: drag across the bands to create a curve. Turn Draw off for individual fader work. Direct value entry is also available.

03 / Compare

Use A/B to compare two settings, Copy A > B to preserve a starting point, Flatten to reset the curve, or Invert to reverse its shape. Bypass lets you hear the original signal. The Mix control blends processed and original audio.

04 / Save your setup

Save your own EQ presets using the preset controls. Custom presets are stored in %APPDATA%/Aurel/EQ-30/Presets.

Each instance retains its Draw setting and window size when you close and reopen the editor. These preferences and the EQ state are saved with the DAW project. Save your project before ending a session. Loading an EQ preset keeps the current Draw setting and window size.

Compatibility

The current release supports Windows x64 with VST3 hosts. macOS, AU and AAX versions are not currently available. Compatibility with every host has not been verified.
